Fiat Chrysler is a big fan of the cinema and they’ve shown it by sponsoring and placing their vehicles in movies. This time the company is heading to the movies with Dodge. The brand will appear in the sure-to-be blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Fiat Chrysler’s Batman v Superman marketing campaign kicked off February 22 with “Into the Storm.”
That ad depicted Ben Affleck, Bruce Wayne, driving towards danger behind the wheel of the Jeep Renegade “Dawn of Justice” Special Edition. This Dodge hasn’t hit the spotlight just yet—that ad is expected to go public in mid-March.
Featuring the Dodge Challenger and Durango, the ad depicts the vehicles as villain cars. Other Fiat Chrysler products integrated into the movies include the Chrysler, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati brands. Jeep and Dodge are the only brands that receive dedicated ads.
“With much of the film’s production taking place in our own backyard of Detroit, our ability to creatively collaborate with the WB team reached new heights. The product integration was so organic to the filmmakers’ vision and storyline, all we had to do was incorporate scenes from the movie for our commercials,” said Olivier Francois, Fiat Chrysler’s Chief Marketing Officer.
