There’s a lot to do in downtown Springfield. Even as the weather cools off, there are plenty of local fall festivals where you can socialize, play games, and have fun. Check out any of the festivals below, or check town event calendars for more that you may have missed!

Harvest Fest

Held at the Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park from September 30th until October 30th, this festival invites attendees to spend weekends at the farm. Loaded with hayrides, a pumpkin patch, carnival games, a corn maze, and even Halloween activities, it’s fun for the whole family.

Cider Days

On September 17th and 18th, Cider Days comes to Historic Walnut Street to provide visitors with over 100 local artists, as well as several other activities such as live performances, food vendors, and a scarecrow village.

Hotel of Terror

Hailed as one of the oldest haunted houses in Springfield, the Hotel of Terror opens for the fall 2016 season on September 9th and continues until October. Don’t forget to check out the Dungeon of Doom, too!
