Dodge Joined the Most Innovative Companies List

Dodge Joined the Most Innovative Companies ListRecently Fast Company announced that Dodge joined the most innovative companies list accompanied by such brand monsters like Google and Amazon.

Fast Company’s 2014 ‘World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies’ list acknowledges those who brilliantly advertise and market for their company. It also names these companies for their sales increases throughout the year because of these innovations.

“Dodge’s late-2013 spokesman was all bluster: It was Ron Burgundy, Will Ferrell’s prancing idiot from Anchorman 2, whose TV ads lifted Durango sales 59% last October.” (Fast Company’s 50 List)

One part that really stood out to Fast Company was that on Conan one night, Ron Burgundy appeared and as a joke said that he didn’t know what the big deal was and that the Dodge Durango wasn’t all that great. So, what did Dodge do? They thought it was hilarious and stuck by it! It was well-played and innovatively successful.

During 2013 Dodge also hopped on the Fast & Furious vibe with their newest movie as well Defiance on the SyFy channel. With all their innovative ideas, it is easy to see what got them to the number 11 spot on the list.
