Winner of the 2015 Resale Value Award.
The 2015 Dodge Charger offers intense performance in a sleek exterior.

Kelley Blue Book has released its reputed list of the 2015 Best Resale Value award-winners. Among the select few is our very own 2015 Dodge Charger. The Charger celebrates its first year on the list as winner of the Full-Size Car segment.

KBB®, a highly regarded resource for automotive data and information, determines a vehicle’s resale value using an in-depth system which collects data based on vehicle sales, market conditions, competition in the segment, and predictions for the future of the economy, along with the experience and expertise of KBB’s own market and pricing analysts.

The Dodge Charger has a three-year resale value of 51% and a five-year value of 38.5%.

Kelley Blue Book experts said of the vehicle:  “Dodge’s full-size sedan offering is more versatile than ever after being redesigned for the 2015 model year. With a new look that includes a redesigned hood, front doors, spoiler, taillights and front fascia, the Dodge Charger still offers space for both people and cargo. That combination helps the Charger earn the top resale value in its category.”

Dodge Challenger Engine Named One of 10 Best Engines for 2015

The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat boasts some ridiculous power.
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat boasts some ridiculous power.

The SRT Hellcat version of the 2015 Dodge Challenger is one of the most track-ready vehicles ever built by Dodge, and it’s got an amazing engine to match that caliber, too. The engine is a 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V8, which pushes the new Challenger to 707 horsepower. Somehow, miraculously, that same engine also manages 22 mpg on the highway to boot.

All those great numbers led Ward’s Auto to include the new Challenger engine on their list of the 10 Best Engines for 2015. Another Chrysler engine, an EcoDiesel engine employed in the Ram 1500, also made the list.

“These two distinctly different engines represent the wide range of powertrain-engineering expertise and technology at Chrysler Group,” said Bob Lee, Vice President and Head of Engine, Powertrain and Electrified Propulsion Systems Engineering. “For their considerable might, they also are both highly efficient and refined – key hallmarks of Chrysler Group powertrains. Such attributes have helped power our vehicles to the top of the sales charts.”

However, both of these engines have at least one thing in common—an uncommon combination of power and efficiency. That’s the key to Dodge innovation right now: finding uncompromising ways to give customers what they want. To find what you want today, just come see us here at Corwin Dodge.

2014 Dodge Challenger Earned a Best Retained Value Award

Reliability and dependability are common buzzwords that are used to describe items that last a long time. In the automotive world, though, they mean something a little more than just a description. Those factors can help lead to awards, and from there can lead to high sales. For instance, the 2014 Dodge Challenger earned a Best Retained Value Award from Edmunds.com, which shows how dependable and reliable it is.

2014 Dodge Challenger earned a Best Retained Value Award

When the 2014 Dodge Challenger earned a Best Retained Value Award, it meant a lot of things. It meant that customers who purchase this midsize/large coupe, the segment in which it won the award, are extremely satisfied and the resale value is high. That is exactly what Dodge and the Chrysler Brand strive for with each of its American-made vehicles.

If you are interested in the 2014 Challenger, then come to Corwin Dodge where we can hook you up with the award-winning vehicle. You won’t be disappointed with what it comes with.

“Dodge Challenger combines world-class ride, refinement and braking performance with more power and a track-tuned suspension to deliver a thrilling driving experience,” said a Dodge news release. “With its award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine producing 305 horsepower and an impressive 25 mpg highway, the Dodge Challenger is the most powerful, refined and technologically advanced entry-level Challenger ever.”

Dodge Challenger Resale Value Ranks in Top 10

One important aspect of overall affordability doesn’t have to do with how much your car costs. It has to do with how much you can sell it for later. Last year Kelly Blue Book released the 2014 Best Resale Value Awards Top 10 and the Dodge Challenger resale value came in at number 10. There is one dealership that couldn’t agree more with this decision, and that is Corwin Dodge in Springfield, MO.

Each year KBB gives us the best resale value vehicles in each segment, but then they get even better with the best overall, limiting the winners down to 10, instead of more than 20. Not only do the top 10 beat out the other winners, but they beat out hundreds of other models competing for this award.

The Dodge Challenger resale value is predicted to be high for multiple reasons, but a main one is appeal. It takes the old muscle car look that we saw in the ‘60s and ‘70s and combines it with new-age features and safety. Along with the beautiful look drivers and passengers can find a comfortable interior with tech-savvy parts and features.

While right now we are looking the Dodge Challenger resale value, taking the 2014 Dodge Challenger for a spin will also help you to make your decision. With its performance and smooth handling, there won’t be any looking back except to see the cars you are passing.
