Ram 1500 Minotaur Could Take On Ford Raptor

Can the Minotaur take down the Raptor?

The 2017 Ford Raptor may look tough, but the Ram 1500 Minotaur is one monstrous truck that can eat it alive. Prefix Performance is offering the Minotaur aftermarket package to owners of a 2013 Ram 1500 and newer models. The package, available from participating dealerships, offers a whole new off-roading experience.

With the base package running in at just under $22,000, the Ram 1500 has never looked more powerful. The package is available on Ram 1500 models 2013 and newer, or drivers can buy the Ram 1500 Minotaur brand new.

Riding on 35-inch all-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch aluminum wheels, the Ram 1500 Minotaur is intimidating to say the least. Throw in red painted tow hooks, an aluminum front skid plate, LED fog lamps, and Minotaur badging and it only gets fiercer.

While the package doesn’t include any engine or exhaust changes, performance enthusiasts rejoice! Prefix Performance also offers the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine for $12,995 as well as a Dodge Viper-inspired performance side exhaust system for $2,595.

While the Ram 1500 Minotaur isn’t the cheapest truck on the road, it offers off-road performance few competitors can match.

Corwin Dodge Ram can’t wait to see what happens when the Raptor and Minotaur go head-to-head off-road!

2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Performance

The 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat blew everyone away with over 700 horsepower while running in at less than $70,000. Few muscle cars can compete with that kind of power so it comes as no surprise to learn that Dodge will one-up themselves with the 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Actually, that might be a little surprising to those who aren’t too familiar with Dodge.

Considering the 2016 Dodge Challenger boasted a whopping 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, it’d be understandable is the Hellcat’s performance went unchanged for the 2017 model year.

Like the 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat? Then you’ll be in for a treat with the 2017 version.

Proving that every car has room for improvement, the 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat will boast a firestorm of 900 horsepower. The increased power comes as result of Hennessey Performance and Dodge working side-by-side on the monstrous muscle car.

Combined with Hennessey’s custom HPE1000 package, the Hellcat’s performance jumps to 1032 horsepower. That package adds twin turbocharged that work alongside the Hellcat’s supercharger and includes steel turbocharged headers and high flow fuel injection.

That package also throws in custom badges, floor mats, a one-year/12,000-mile warranty and a whopping 987 lb-ft of torque. Performance enthusiasts, be warned. This isn’t a muscle car for those that just want a touch of power in their ride.

We’re happy to see the Dodge Challenger Hellcat get even more power!
