FCA Introduces the New 2015 Ram Rebel Off-Roading Machine

Ram Rebel 1500
The Ram Rebel is poised to become the ultimate off-road vehicle.

The new 2015 Ram Rebel was first introduced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. Now, for the first time since it’s unveiling, the machine went to work at the Overland Expo in Mormon Lake, Arizona, showing off the impressive 2015 Ram Rebel off-roading capabilities.

The Rebel is Ram’s one-of-a-kind production pickup. Focused on off-road capability, the half-ton pickup boasts impressive performance features and a new, bold style. The Rebel comes equipped with 33-inch tires, skid plates, Bilstein shocks, tow hooks, and a number of other off-roading upgrades, and offers new interior color options and materials, along with a new front grille design.

“The Ram Rebel fulfills customer demand for an aggressively styled, factory-built off-road-style package,” said Bob Hegbloom, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand, FCA US in a statement. “Overland Expo has grown to be a must-attend event for adventurers who rely on their vehicles to get them off the beaten path. It’s a great fit for Ram Trucks.”

The Overland Expo was held May 15-17, and brings in more than 6,000 off-roading enthusiasts from all corners of the globe for three days of camping, outdoor product demonstrations, classes, and workshops. For more information, visit overlandexpo.com.

2016 Dodge Viper ACR’s Performance Unmatched

2015 Dodge Viper
The ACR will be the fastest street-legal Viper ever!

Dodge calls the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR the “fastest street-legal Viper track car ever,” making it the most powerful Viper that you can actually drive to work. ACR stands for American Club Racer, and the Dodge Viper ACR is Dodge’s street-legal race car, thanks to the insane abilities ACR cars are equipped to exhibit.

ACRs typically feature aerodynamic tweaks, stiffened suspensions, and few options – in almost every case, the ACR performance badge goes on a race car for the purpose of track performance.

“The Viper has always been more of a street-legal race car than a track-capable streetcar, and the new 2016 Dodge Viper ACR is the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and Chief Executive Officer, Dodge Brand and SRT Brand, FCA North America in a statement. “Our goal is to arm our enthusiasts with the ultimate Viper track car to dominate road courses around the world.”

The 2016 Dodge Viper ACR’s performance is unmatched on the streets, thanks to new high-performance tires specifically designed for ACR, and Carbon Ceramic Matrix 15-inch two-piece rotors and six-piston front calipers by Brembo®.
