With automakers constantly updating their lineups and rebuilding vehicles, there is a time when a vehicle is no longer made, and that time has come for a great Dodge vehicle. It is announced that after 2014 we can see the Dodge Avenger discontinued.
Chrysler, as a whole, has decided that they want to start straying away from having “sister” vehicles within different, but connecting, brands. (i.e. Dodge and Chrysler) Now, after having the Dodge Avenger discontinued, the Chrysler 200 will be able to take over as the only midsize sedan.

“There is not an Avenger version of the new 200 planned, “ confirms Kathy Graham, product PR manager for the Chrysler Group. “The 2014 MY (model year) Dodge Avenger started production in July, 2013 and is scheduled to end in Q1 2014,” she stated. (article by Stephen Elmer of AutoGuide.com)
Now that the Dodge Avenger will be out of the picture, we can expect to see a rise in other vehicles from the Dodge family, such as the Dodge Dart and Dodge Durango.
Since you are going to be running out of time to get the Dodge Avenger, make sure you stop by Corwin Dodge in Springfield, MO and take one for a test drive. You may just want to go home with the future Dodge Avenger discontinued vehicle.
